the NFL-ication of CFB continues. I suspect player unions are next. They're not going to be happy until they kill everything that made college football so unique and special, and we stop watching.
Everyone here knows you're a troll account, Bubba-slime, but if you must know, between Tide Pride dues and then season tickets I'd say it was down closer to 20% this year.
Finally decided to start looking for a job, Doug? Good luck. Yet another Bama article littered with Jawja trolls in comments, per the norm. You can move on with your lives; that mean ol' Nick Saban isn't going to hurt you anymore.
There's no panic; slow news season and they're desperate for a narrative, TideFan.
Come on *Salt*OnThePlains, you're being a bit harsh on the young dude. Besides, 4 TDs in that game I'd say he did his part.
Roydell Williams has transferred out and McClelland has declared for the NFL draft - Justice Haynes will likely be the featured back at Bama next year.
With the wild west of the current NIL/transfer portal landscape and no sheriff, cash is king; pride and commitment have gone by the wayside. It's disgusting to watch as Texas and Miami simply buy their way back to relevance with these mercenaries.
"Committed" - you keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.
It's looking likely this is the guy. He can certainly coach, but you raise a great question about recruiting, Gtrips.
DeBoer sounds too close to DuBose, no thanks. It's interesting that Kirby said "I appreciate all you did for me" during the on-field meeting in the SECCG, such a statement tells me that it was known then he'd retire (they had played several times before, so it would be an odd general statement), so it's likely Coach has had this worked out. I think it's either Dabo or Lane.
As much as I'd like to beat the cheater drum, the way UMs defense played against Bama & Washington showed they were deserving winners. I do believe had Bama not fumbled late in the 4th we'd be talking about a different national champion, but the Wolverines played their tails off and earned it.
Everything that occurred prior to Monday showed that Napier can recruit, everything since Monday shows that, unless recruits have ethics like DJ, NIL is king.
*turn things around *in* Lincoln - still waiting on the ability to edit posts, SDS.
This gushing purple-prose writing is gross - there's nothing romantic or poetic about going for the easy money, the guaranteed starting job, and the cushy big-10 defenses. Best of luck to the young man, and hopefully he can help turn things around and Lincoln, but good grief Hayes.
"if you can't beat em', join em'" comes to mind. Shame though, they really do appreciate him in the Swamp.
This feels more like a genuine win-win fit, instead of transfer portal mercenary business we're getting accustomed to seeing.
I think Jordan Travis should have gone instead of Harrison. He was the most important player on his team, and at the very least would have been a great gesture for his collegiate send-off.
REeeeeeeeeeee Orange Man Bad Reeeeee. By the way, Grant Bricker, 3 sentences does a "rant" not make.
This will be a good one between two playoff worthy teams. It'll be interesting if some guys like Bowers sit out (not saying he will); FSU's defense is legit; may be more competitive than we think if Beck doesn't have his go-to guys.
Now this looks to be an interesting game.
You can take the dawg out of Athens but you can't take the Athens out of the dawg.. Many Bama fans don't care for him or his attitude.
I recognize that I see the world in crimson colored glasses, but that is a catch. Heck of a game, dawgs.
Class comments so far, guys. It was a juggernaut battle between the two premiere programs in all of CFP. This UGA team is good enough to 3-peat, but the Committee will not have two SEC teams in. Roll Tide!
It was an incredible game between two marquee programs. IF the committee really did want the 4 best teams, that would pick both UA and UGA, but they won't. That said, I believe Nick Saban saved CFP tonight; many dawg fans have been unbearable riding back-to-back natty's, a 3-peat? Good lord.
USC (the real one) perhaps? might be a win-win scenario for both player and program, and last collegiate game could potentially be at Clemson that way as well.
I'm with you guys' if he could be in a program with some stability and not running for his life after 2 seconds he can be a good QB.
