It could be argued that the jury is out on Smart's game management.
Jon Gloer, who played on the 1980 team. His son Chad also played for UGA.
There was a whole movie about dudes in a barber shop. It was called Barber Shop. And I'd swear Eddie Murphy did something with a barber shop as a setting, too. I guess the studio that produced that movie could sue LeBron.
It's worth noting that Mike Dubose, Dennis Franchione and Mike Shula all had access to Alabama's resources and support. The idea that anyone could take the sideline and win big at Alabama doesn't hold up in that light. Saban gets talented players to Tuscaloosa and gets the most out of them. I don't think he's overrated. One could make a case that he's underpaid.
That's an interesting read, Jon. Personally, I think way too much attention has been paid to the fact they're both coming back. You'd rather have them than not, but 2016 was largely about OL play, and I think 2017 will be too. If Georgia's line improves, Chubb and Michel will be lethal and it will have a ripple effect.
McGarity paints an incomplete picture of last year. If they win those games he mentioned, then yes, they're 10-2. But they also had four wins by six points or less. They could easily have finished 3-9, and it would've included a loss to Nicholls State. They have certainly put a lot of good things in place, but let's dispense with looking at last year as a reason for optimism. It was the definition of mediocrity.
Sorry, but you can't cast this on the readers. You've had six months to come up with this list.
It's somehow disrespectful to call coaches by their given name? Equine squeeze. This isn't a court martial, it's a press conference. You don't owe them your deference. As for your questions, five are legitimate. The rest came from the same equine. Asking Butch Jones if he's laughing along with everyone else is an admission you don't know anything about his program. Asking McIlwain the Rodney Dangerfield question is a similar admission. Work a little harder man.
