Michigan's difference maker in the secondary is Dax Hill. 5-star guy plays Nickel + Safety. #2 DB in his class after Stingley. OSU offense was on tilt most of the game due to 7 O-line penalties, 4 sacks + 4 TFLs, and lack of time in the pocket that forced short throws. And OSU totally abandoned the run game in 2nd half.
A lot of good observations here, but one misconception is to say Michigan didn't slow down OSU's passing game. Against 3 ELITE speedy OSU WRs - Michigan never got beat over the top. The 3 or 4 20+ yd pass plays were heavily contested catches with no Yds after catch. Mich played bend don't break gameplan in the secondary, and definitely succeeded in that objective despite OSU's 49 pass attempts. UM also succeeded on Def despite forcing zero Turnovers.
