They changed it. It originally said defending champs.
UGA isn't losing Kolton Houston yet, the NCAA granted him an additional year of eligibility.
Your second point is interesting, but it is definitely not ironic.
Nor did Isaiah Crowell simply "leave a year early for the NFL" from Georgia.
But as of this moment, the new committee ranking isn't out yet.
It might be splitting hairs, but Missouri wasn't UGA's first shutout of a ranked opponent on the road - it was their first shutout of a ranked opponent on the opponent's home field. They shutout a ranked Florida team in Jacksonville, which is technically on the road, in 82, and get this, it's not even the only time Georgia has shutout Missouri on the road. They did it in the 1960 orange bowl. But to your point, Pruitt is doing some great things with the little he came in to.
A) Strength of schedule rankings from back in February are all but meaningless at this point in the season, once we start seeing who teams really are, and B) I think you missed his point entirely. As strong as those non-cons may be, they don't compare to sec teams and might be giving the players an unearned inflated confidence.
Every single one of your realities is just a different perception. What is the point of these? You're basically just saying that just because something might happen, doesn't necessarily mean it will. Erm... duh?
