As a University of Alabama graduate who lived in Knoxville for 10 years and took on Tennessee as my second team, it pains me to see the continuous difficulties they are going through. However, just as Bama went through such difficulties before Saban got on board, this too shall pass. Tennessee fans just have to be patient, get the right coach in the job, and give him the time and support to get the program back on track. I know... much easier said than done. However, the fans must have the faith and patience to go through the painful years until it is accomplished. There is no instant gratification, no matter how much they hope for it. My biggest complaint about Tennessee fans over the years is how much they hate Alabama... As I told many of my VOLS friends, I have never seen fans who would rather see another team (Bama) lose, than see their team (Tennessee) win. Unfortunately for them, they have not been able to see either for several years... Hang in there Tennessee... You will survive this,
