There are no words that can describe just how absolutely horrible Kevin Sumlin handled this game tonight. First of all, why in God's name would you keep in the true freshmen quarterback? He made the offense completely one dimensional! He couldn't pass, and shat the bed. That's to be expected of a kid whose last game was against other high school kids! Put in Hubenak! I mean that has to be the single stupidest thing ever I just there are no words. Keeping the freshmen in kept the defense on the field the entire second half and fatigued them. He didn't even give Hubenak a snap. Mond had 2 completions I believe for 12 yards. That's it. Also, for God sake, UCLA's plan was pretty simple underneath crossing routes. That's it. Here's an idea, run a coverage to combat that? Ridiculous embarrassment. He needs to go. Soon. As soon as possible. He's a joke. He's making the team a joke, and he's breaking the spirits of all these kids with his foolish amateur decisions. #firesumlin
What an irresponsible and biased piece of writing. It is foolish to claim that Tennessee, who never lead the game against A&M, is a better team even though the score showed differently. Great teams usually are disciplined enough to protect the football. Great teams finish games in overtime. Great teams convert third downs. Great teams play all three quarters. Great teams don't commit penalties. The list goes on. The fallacy in the author's logic is apparent. I'm sure the coaches' poll and AP will certainly disagree. What garbage. Neutral site? Isn't part of the whole "playing in a conference" going on the road to win? Let's toss that in there, great teams beat ranked opponents on the road. Regardless, this is article is trite hogwash. I'm glad I just come here just for the comments.
