Us Hog fans know the feeling except we've lost 3 key pitchers for the year, LF (3 hole hitter) down for about 6 weeks, CF(leadoff) out for past 2 weeks, 2nd baseman (2 hole) out last weekend, 2nd best arm out for 2 months. We feel your pain. The series will be the battle of the backups lol
Clearly more talented than everyone but Kentucky? You obviously don't remember the talent lsu had before this year, the talent both Bama and auburn have had the past few years or the talent TN has had. As a matter of fact, last year's Hog team (2021-22 season) had mid level talent compared to the rest of the SEC.
Yea I'm sure the football team will be thinking of how the baseball team got their ass beat
The issue with that is that A&M has had highly rated recruiting class for several years. I believe top 10 for 5 or 6 years and a top 5 or two in the there. Jimbo isn't a good coach
People were down on Bama most of last year with several close games but they still ended up sec champs and national runner-up. I'm afraid at texas did was provide the motivation Saban needed. That being said their Oline doesn't look good
Until Kentucky and Tennessee beat someone worth mentioning then no.
Comparing a shot to peeing is what's dense. The shot had absolutely no trial period to test long term effects. Seems like every month the FDA is pulling drugs that have been on the market for 10+ years because of the long term effects. There is no way they could reasonably say it was safe. Oh and it wasn't free. Taxes paid for it
Exactly true. Politicians see millions in tax revenue if they are declared employees
Unless everyone plays everyone the schedules are never equitable.
But all the non Hog fans will be cheering for NMST. The underdog always has the crowd in these games
As a Hog fan I don't see us being put at #1. We've struggled a bit with some below average teams. Cincinnati and Kstate were ok wins. As for Bama being #1, didn't they lose to Iona?
So you think they would be undefeated against Bama, auburn, Missouri, Mississippi, Mississippi st, Lsu, Tamu, Georgia?
It's one thing to do it one game a year, it's another to do it week in and week out. If Cincinnati showed up like they did against navy, Tulsa etc they would get throttled. Things like depth play into it also. If you think Cincinnati could go undefeated against Mississippi, Mississippi St, Tamu, auburn, Lsu, Bama, and Uga then your delusional
There's a big difference in doing it for one week early in the season and having to play sec teams for several weeks in a row.
By that logic Uga should be ahead of Tn since it was a stupid penalty that have Tn a chance at the hailmary
Lol. Charlie, unfortunately he is the last
If he, along with Cornelius and Jojo Robinson, can progress it should make Arkansas more explosive and open things up for Henry
As a Hog fan, I hated seeing him leave. But we all knew if he ever got a chance to coach in the state of Florida he'd probably take it. Our lose, y'alls gain
He left a big 10 school in Wisconsin to coach in the SEC so why would he go to Nebraska, a team below Wisconsin?
Meyer didn't leave it in great shape either. At least Muschamp cleaned up alot of the character issues Meyer created and left. For that I give him credit
I'm a die hard Hog fan. That being said let me break it down like this. The Hogs got beat not because of the refs but because they got outplayed in the 2nd half. And for some reason our OC called what seemed to be more passes than any other game this year other than when Uga was blowing us out. He did this with a hurt qb against the best pass rushing DEs in the SEC. Also Missouri WON the east. It doesn't matter who thinks Uga is better (and I do). UM won the games they should have and Uga lost to 2 inferior teams therefore UM finished with a better conference record and are the east champs. Opinions don't count, records do
personally I think Maulk fumbled but then I'm not sure how the rule is written. His arm was going forward but also down and his left hand was coming up as to protect the ball before being hit. I didn't think there was enough there to over turn the call on the field. I think they got the Collins fumble right. Regardless neither of those plays caused the Hogs to lose. They had their chances with a couple of short fields after turnovers. they also gave up a 99 yrd td drive. And for the life of me I don't understand why they threw it so much especially on the last drive and with a hurt qb. Congrats to Missouri and get em next year Hogs. WPS!!!!
just because the clock was ticking doesn't mean the ball is marked ready for play. Example: running back runs for 5 yards, the clock doesn't stop since it wasn't a first down. Offense substitutes so the defense does. the ref will stand over the ball until the D is set. happens every game
Not sure with Sumlin if they'll ever be great on D. Offensive coaches rarely care much about D. Also coming from the big 12 it might take some time to transition from a big 12 d to an sec type D
Missouri may have been ranked but they aren't that good. Without Gurley, Uga's running game is depleted but still very good. I'm a Hog fan. I can see this game going either way. The teams are very similar on offense. It could come down to the qbs and they are very similar too
As a Hog fan, it's nice to see fans of other teams realizing what is being built at Arkansas. I don't get the Florida and Kentucky projection. I know they're in the east but just don't see it.
Personally, I'm sick of seeing Baylor in the top 10. All the other big schools try scheduling at least one good non conference opponent a year while Baylor refuses too.
The first one he slows down and bends over then jumps. Look intentional to me
