We need the NCAA to get off their asses and approve Brenton Cox's waiver, hopefully they do so right before the WLOCP.
I think it's a combination of
1. Franks has more pro potential, and he thinks turning him into a 1st round pick would take his QB recruiting to the next level and compete for national, 5 star type recruits.
2. He is a better runner, which Mullen values greatly.
3. He is a more natural leader, which he also values greatly.
Because yea, Trask is clearly significantly better, especially with this current team who can't line up and run the ball.
