I stand corrected about LSU every other year. My thoughts about playing Bama, UGA and UF every year stand so UT has played three of the traditional powers every year for what seems like forever.
I personally think it's a horrible look for Bama considering their records against most of the SEC.
How is it not correct?
UT has been playing UGA, Bama and UF every year (with LSU every other year) for what seems like forever so I don't have much sympathy for Bama's concerns.

I personally think a 1-loss UT team deserves to go in over USC or TCU considering strength of schedule, overall resume, etc. Our only loss is to the most dominant team in CFB on THEIR turf. It's insane that UT is now being put behind lesser teams in subpar conferences.
TCU going on the road and beating Texas as a touchdown underdog will further establish why the unbeaten Horned Frogs will be ranked in the top 4?!
Maybe I'm wrong but I think UT going to Baton Rouge and thumping the SEC West champs is a bigger win and the SEC is hands down tougher than the Big-12.
I get that TCU is undefeated but let's please keep things in perspective in terms of their resume. It's not anywhere close to UT's.
As someone who lives in PAC-12 country… the conference is beyond weak and anyone thinking Oregon is a tough team is ignorant or intellectually lazy.

I personally think playing LSU on the road and then Bama at home is a tougher test than Kentucky at home and UGA on the road. Just me...
