It amazes me how many non-Tennessee fans are posting comments about this. Most are opposed to the move? Why? If it's such a terrible idea, you should be encouraging it. If it's so bad, that's an automatic win for you. The truth is that a Fulmer return scares most of you because teams like Georgia and Alabama didn't do so well against him. Sure, Florida had his number, or more accurately, Steve Spurier did, but Vanderbilt? Kentucky? Aside from two seasons, they knew Tennessee was going to kill them. Pruitt has failed to impress. Losing to two teams that are going to have losing seasons themselves, there is waiting to give a guy a chance and then there's waiting for no apparent reason. Tennessee letting Pruitt go now is the smart decision.
