Although, Spurrier does also rely on two offensive coordinators as well in Steve Spurrier Jr. and G.A. Mangus, but yes Spurrier does call majority of the offensive plays
Well it would obviously be the HBC Steve Spurrier and here's why. Spurrier has won countless championships from the SEC to the ACC and the National Championship. He coached and played on both the National and Pro levels and he obviously knows what it takes to win games. Not only that, He can take a weak program like Duke or South Carolina who were lucky to win a bowl and turn them into Conference and even National powerhouse programs. Not only is he a winner, but a risk taker as well. Spurrier, as we all saw @ Auburn a few weeks back, takes risk no matter the down or the score calling a onside kick when his team is up by a touchdown and going for it on 4th down each time. Spurrier also out coached the genius Nick Saban (2010 @ Williams-Bryce) and "the Wizard" Gus Malzahn (If it wasn't for the defense). So, if I had to choose ONE SEC coach to win ONE game, I'd go with the O'l Ball Coach.
