The sportswriters always overrate this team in a hunt for recreating the glory days of the past, but it is a foregone conclusion we have to go though this comedy every year until they have to play a good team. The win against Clemson is meaningless without Trevor Lawrence, and everyone else in the country knew it. There were at least 5-6 more deserving teams for that 4th slot. Their hot-headed coach thought Alabama just "made a few more plays". Really?
