Les did not have the confidence in his QB to throw the ball enough to force Kirby to spread the defense and lighten the box this would have made it a field day for LF. And since 2009 Nick has made a concerted effort to improve our secondary and it shows. I watch tape sometimes 10 hours a day lol. My JSU Gamecocks are #1 in the nation in FBS. You have to really know, not just guess from watching a game once. Sometimes I'll watch a game 3-5 times in a day looking for weaknesses. you can't concentrate on a game with those commentators running their mouths, you must turn the volume off.

The electronic pixel masturbation is almost over, this game is going to be Epic..... it may be the best game of the 2015 season, barre none. Alabama will stop Fournette as well as they did Nick Chubb, there is no reason to doubt this. The real question is can LSU stop Derrick... Our defense is superior in all aspects. The only other question is will Jake have a good day... LSU has limited passing experience this year because they have had little reason to. The Tide will give them that reason..... Our defense is very high on interceptions and I think leads the nation in Pick 6's... problem is I do this every year and it means precisely nothing... we will just have to wait and see.....

I completely understand what you are saying. And there is no doubt that IF the Tide can get a comfortable lead that Nick will pull his punches for not only the reasons you talk about but for our sake down the road. However, This game is going to be EPIC it is do or die for both teams, people are going to get hurt. If Alabama wins they are going to the playoffs regardless of the SEC championship game, no matter whether they win or lose LSU is going to brutalize Ole Miss. Three of the top 7 teams ARE GOING TO LOSE A GAME; there is no way around it because they will play one another. In my opinion, the best way to get to the top of this heap is to Beat LSU convincingly, Alabama needs to prove that the Ole Miss game was a fluke, because no one in the rest of the football world wants to believe this. Roll Tide.

Several teams that are highly ranked in this index have not played a top25 ranked team as of yet. and none of the teams ranked above LSU and Alabama have played the schedules we have. Our numbers are based on playing teams such as Georgia, Texas A&M, Arkansas and, Ole Miss, LSU has played a similar schedule. The top 3 teams have numbers based on haveing faced such football powerhouses as N Illinois, Indiana, Rice, Lamar, SMU, Minnesota, Akron, Texas Tech, If we played cupcake schedules like this we would have terrific numbers as well. These numbers are all fine and well but are only relative to the schedule they represent.

That was the most blatant misuse of the IRS I have seen to this point. The Instant Replay System was put in use to end this kind of problem not create them. Just saying dang we messed up is not enough.....

I have all of the last years games on DVR and when I begin to think that the team is looking shaky I turn on the 2014 game against LSU, early in the game it was looking bad for the tide, but Lane pulled it out. Blake could look a hack for two quarters and then for two quarters look like the finest QB in the league. Jake is more consistant and he also has focused control of the game when he is on the field, what he lacks in speed he makes it up with toughness. Our vastly improved secondary has taken some of the pressure off the defense, one that is also improved, I would love to see Kirby be a little more liberal with the pressure, but it is hard to complain about the end results of the games I have watched this year. Alabama football as a whole is a great source of pride for us all. Nick and his assistants have brought back the pride that I first experienced in the early 70's when I learned to love the Bear and the Tide.
