The 6 games shouldn't matter, it's not like their initial schedule was any more difficult. If the full pre-covid schedule had been played, Ohio state would still probably be undefeated right now. The real issue is that the committee isn't doing their job if they put ND and Clemson or Bama and Florida in together. Head to head wins are still the best method of determining the better team and if you lose at the end of the season, you should be out. I don't know who should take the last 2 spots, but it shouldn't be a 2 loss team or a team where the head-to-head has already been decided. The Big Ten really looks weak this year but without slotting them in its hard to tell, and I know there are plenty of people who thing the SEC and ACC look weak too
