What a cry-baby! Overpaid complaining spoiled ass babies like Mullen is what is wrong with college and professional football. Why don't they just take the pads off and tie flags to their asses!!
He NEVER said the athletic department was not going to give back to the university. Go read his exact comments. He just said it was dangerous to promise the academic side a specific amount over a certain time period and to just give it to the general fund. The funds donated NOW will be earmarked for certain projects. Mr Woodward is no dummy. He knows how the political game at LSU is played. It definitely sends a message to academia but he also now's it is good business for the athletic department to give back. Now, it will just be on the departments terms.
