and closing the gap has still not won a championship for you guys.....overrated.
If things continue the way they started or have been the last 2 years, Nuss will be the sacrificial lamb and be gone (deservedly). Mac will get one more year to improve the offense, then its his job on the line. If by beginning/mid next year, our offense is not running very well and in top 50, Mac's job is in jeopardy. Treon Harris always said it was Nuss. It's either talent or coaching, and I don't think the problem is talent, we have a lot of that. That only leaves one thing. Mac might need to call the game and let Nuss go to save his own job.
I haven't seen or read anything on Zaire and Del Rio being unhappy.
1 returning starter........10 defensive starters are gone. How in God's name could the writer say/know its a talented Wolverines Defense???
Ive read several pieces that describe Grier's dad as arrogant and demanding. Knowing he was there with his dad at the meeting, completely makes sense (to me) that Grier's dad wanted to know if Grier still had his job there and when told "no guarantees, everyone competes", Grier's dad and Will did not like that. Words were exchanged and Grier and his dad felt it was best to go elsewhere. Mac has helped with troubled players before, some of them I would say don't deserve any more chances, but he still tries to help them and give them chances. I can't see him turning his back on Grier like that. I think words were exchanged about being late to the meeting as well and then Grier's found out or thought he was late b/c he was recruiting Franks. I don't blame Mac for that, I believe at the time, Franks was still and LSU commit and hadn't flipped him yet, Mac needed that flip.
Lol, ouch ! Yeah, I could care less about chewing gum, just run a good program and compete and win. Mac is on the right track.
