Unequivocally. I'm originally from Michigan and in my life, I've attended two OSU/UM games and far too many AU/UA games to count and I can say with certainty the Iron Bowl passion is unparalleled. Ironically, for it to be deemed such a "heated" rivalry, the atmosphere is surprisingly civil im both venues compared to OSU/UM. I know many will diagree, but I've seen true mass hostility/hate and the majority of AU/UA fans in each venue do not exhibit such hate as the OSU/UM fans do. But the fans down here are far more passionate. I recall my first Iron Bowl as a young lad new to the south in 2004 still and I was awestruck. I made the trip down from Tuscaloosa the following year with my future wife who was also attending UA but remained (to this day) an avid Auburn fanatic and was even more awestruck. I recall the crowd noise in Jordan-Hare literally sucking the air out of the stadium. You don't simply experience that level of intensity in the big house. I was unable to attend the 2013 Iron Bowl as I was back home but my wife was there and said it topped the 2010 "Camback", which we both agreed was the best Iron Bowl we had witnessed in person at the time. Unfortunately, adulthood, parenting and caring for an ailing father has interfered with our college football attendance the past few years as we always made a trip to Auburn and Tuscaloosa each season, plus the Iron Bowl wherever it's held. But I have more than enough fond memories that I'll forever cherish. Meanwhile, I can barely recall any aspects of the UM/OSU games I attended other than simply spending time with my father and being belittled by herds of drunken Buckeye fans.
