It’s not ‘heat of the moment’ to say LSU had the best season in college football history
Colt Brennan’s setting the previous record didn't really mean anything. He did it against nobodies. If I remember correctly, GA trashed him and his Hawaii team in the Sugar Bowl. He would have had half the season he had, had he been playing an SEC schedule back then. Burrow did what he did this year against one of the toughest schedules ever in college football. Simply astounding. This is coming from someone that reviles the LSU tigers by the way.
There’s no question Arkansas had to fire Chad Morris, but now a bigger question looms
Yurachek had no part in the hiring of Morris. Long was fired and there was an assistant AD named Julie Cromer Peoples who should NEVER have been allowed to make any decisions concerning a new head coach. Sadly she was allowed to and Steinmetz (who also shouldn't have been allowed to make any decisions on a new coach) agreed and told the Board of Trustees to back the decision.
