"Franklin looked like a sprinter who would excel in 7-on-7, but maybe not 3rd-and-7." That's probably backwards. 7-on-7 is strictly passing so obviously that's not Franklins best situation. His speed and ability to extend a play gives him options on a 3rd-and-7.
Yeah I'm pretty confident Carlson's got that locked up. Pineiro may be second team though.
Lashlee already said he'd be ok before too long. He'll be back in the summer.
Players go to good JUCO teams like East Mississppi to get into a bigger college so if a coach thinks you are good enough to play ball at an actual school he will play you. I'm pretty sure the other guy got into JSU. He wouldn't have gotten that offer if he never played. Also, the other guy already had a year in the system and Franklin arrived in the fall.
Wow...a lot of mistakes on this article. First of all, how do you make a point to talk about the qbs without mentioning John Franklin? He's expected to start by lots of people so I think he deserves a mention. Second, Peyton Barber declared for the draft. This mistake just comes down to a lack of paying attention. Third, you can't talk about Auburn's run game without mentioning the h-back position. That has been a staple of Malzahn's offense for years and its looking like one of the most solid position groups on the team.
Never forget tre Smith
2013 not 2014. CAP and Corey Grant were the guys on 2014 but they were both there in 2013 along with Tre Mason
Don't be ignorant. You probably shouldn't say a team that has Alabama's resume will ever get "destroyed". That's coming from an Auburn fan.
He's been switching in with JJ and Sean for the past 2 weeks according to Al.com. They only get to see the first 20 minutes of practice though so any one of them could be getting the majority of first team reps and we would never know.
