First off this man claims to know about financial spending and such and if he was as well versed as he claims why would he be a sports writer? Secondly the Athletics Dept made 98,669,000 last year and spent 98,331,000 which included what? yup you guessed it coaches salaries for all sports along with paying off the bond debt we have at a rate of 8 mil a year and still had money to give the university 12.4 million. Yeah we are really strapped for cash here folks. Also should be noted that the writer is a Clemson beat writer mostly so take it for what thats worth :D
