Colleges (with which football teams are affiliated) are about education. About informing. About diverse thought and analysis. One of the most absurd things a respectable college or university could do would be to "protest" a company because that company stands up for dialogue and thought. God help us if we become the automaton yes-men that Trump would have us be. Unfortunately, so many people have already fallen for that trap out of fear and weakness (i.e., ability to be manipulated). This is a direct result of lack of education. Let the Liberty Universities of the world do their political (i.e., ignorant) thing. State schools - including my alma mater twice over (my beloved Dawgs!) - must support and defend the right of people like Kaepernick to be heard. And then facilitate discussion to analyze, learn, improve and be better citizens for having absorbed his message. By the way, I just retired from the Air Force after 21 years of active duty - I served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Korea, among other places. I love this country and I love the Dawgs. It would be an absolute travesty for this institution of higher learning to succumb to the ignorance of the minority in power. And it won't.
Danielson is actually quite brilliant. He sees the smallest details. He's annoying, though, when your team is not doing well, because he points it out constantly and that gets on the fans' nerves.
Don't be silly. Danielson was talking about not considering this game when the committee decides whether Alabama should get one of the REMAINING two slots (after Oklahoma and Georgia). It was in the context of Georgia about to beat Auburn and Auburn having beaten Alabama, and whether that should mean Alabama should be eliminated.
