UCONN athletics is a house of cards ready to collapse. They thought they could be a football power and that totally went nowhere. They had the state build them a football stadium and now they are on the hook to fill it. Not happening. Leaving the Big East was a disaster. Without a big television deal, UCONN receives nothing close to what Power 5 teams rake in. When Geno retires from the women's program, UCONN will be a memory. Sad. They should have been content to be a "basketball school" like Villanova, but made some really bad decisions. Guys like Frank Martin are much too smart to leave a good thing that he's building in Columbia and the SEC for a fading star in Storrs.
