I just can't buy into this "rivalry." Arkansas is just another team, in my opinion. If Mizzou had a rivalry with anybody in the SEC so far I think it's South Carolina. The games the past two years have come down to the wire and Mizzou kept SC out of the title game last season.

There's no doubt the East has been down the past two years, but this argument is becoming a broken record. Missouri is 13-3 (including losing to Auburn) the past two seasons and hasn't lost an SEC road game in over two years. Mizzou's also beaten every single team in the East at least once the past two seasons, including your 'Cocks at USC this year. It's pretty subjective to call Georgia's losses "flukes," as well, considering Florida beat UGA by 18 points. Missouri beat both of those teams, too. Mizzou turned the ball over 5 times against UGA in their matchup earlier this season, and a good majority of them were in Georgia territory. Now that sounds more like a fluke to me. Georgia might win if they played again, but I truly believe it'd be a close contest. Regardless, the East is clearly down. But winning the East (and potentially winning it twice in a row only three years into our membership in the league) is an enormous accomplishment considering the weekly competition in this league.
