The data does point to extreme temperature (on both the high and low end) as having a moderate impact on outcomes. So the kicker is indeed a little misguided. However, when you add wind and precipitation, the impact is significant. *In aggregate*, a November Big Ten game is far more likely to have all 3 factors (temperature, wind, precipitation) vs. any SEC game. Therefore, it’s not really debatable to say which conference plays in tougher conditions. It’s the Big Ten— and the data backs that up. SEC still has the edge on talent right now, so not sure why you all decided to bring your butter knives to a gun fight.
