Just a guy trying to watch the orange and white team.

Credit to Georgia and their stout defensive front. Proud of the boys for fighting, we looked poor against a phenomenal pass rush when we can’t get the run game going. Looking forward to the kats next week.
Credit to Georgia, their D-line gave us fits all game. What I’m wondering is if Georgia can get the same pressure on Mac Jones or if the defense can cover the deep balls. Also the run game for Georgia will be a massive determinant in this game. If they get held to 3 yards a carry for the majority of the game like we were able to it’ll be tough for the dawgs. I think Georgia should be favored though watching bama’s defense last week.
South Carolina shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place. So many dropped passes. I think the play calling was questionable there, but there were a lot of things they didn’t execute on that put Florida up that much and kept them out of a potential one score game. For the most part I think the SC QB play has improved a lot though to give them opportunities.
I think Kentucky has a solid team. They’re just suffering from what we at Tennessee have experienced the last decade. It’s a cliche but the boys in blue need to learn how to win. Can’t fold after a bad call like they did at Auburn and give it to them on their own 30 when you’re coming back, can’t celebrate early like that run today. Nothing comes easy in this league.
Always good to see improvement. Glad we didn’t overlook Mizzou. Excited for a top ten opponent next week to test the teams mettle and see where we stand.
Thanks, if Mizzou had cashed in 7 on some more opportunities it could have been closer. I think your team will have some more opportunities down the road.
There’s a strength in not doing it if you’re a team like bama and there is one if you’re like Oregon. Most teams just fall more towards Oregon these days with apparel deals.
Biggest flaw in his game are those mid range balls. It’s 4 years and he hasn’t learned to add some touch on the release for not being able to step into the throw when pressured. That said, his short balls were fine, his deep balls were good, and he didn’t turn the ball over. If we just don’t have a great QB on the roster, JG in his 5th year will be a stable game manager.
