I'm no GM, but this seems like an awesome deal for the Titans. With the number of quality picks they picked up in this trade, they can address a lot of needs. They can still get a top OT as this class is loaded with potential at the position. In my opinion, the QB class is rather disappointing. The Rams are risking a lot here.
I look at Tennessee the same as I do Arkansas and Ole Miss. Loaded with talented players, high expectations. I expect all three to compete at the highest level. I just question how long each of them can sustain it.
This is nuts. When I read these comments it might as well say "my team is better because it's my team." I think nearly every team in this list, particularly in the SEC, has too many question marks to say this team will be better than that one. It's a preseason ranking, an expectation of results based on information available. Right now we just do not have enough information to bet our pay checks on any ranking.
I tend to agree here. I would love to have Johnson on staff for my team.
Well here we are at halftime of this SEC Championship game. Do any Missouri fans still question your current ranking? Got the makings of a blowout!
Mizzouka - The same case can be made against you guys. You have not beaten a single team in the current top 25. If my eyes aren't playing tricks you have only played one of them. I think you guys have a solid team, but your body of work doesnt include many solid teams. UGA, Arkansas, Florida had their moments, nobody else.
Furthermore, UGA beat the brakes off of Mizzou. Hard to look past head to head results. But you could argue the two of those a number of different ways.
While I see the argument with Ole Miss and UGA being ranked behind Mizzou, it makes no sense to rank them ahead of MS State. Both have two losses. State loses to Alabama and Ole Miss. Mizzou loses to Indiana and gets blown out by Georgia at home. Then their is the close call at South Carolina. Both MSU losses were also on the road. Just trying to be objective. I'm an Ole Miss fan so I do not take pleasure in accepting that MS State is better than anyone.
MSU has a trademark on all cowbells with a handle? Haha who told you that? You can only trademark names, logos, etc. I'm sure they have a trademark on the logo, but not the cowbell itself. And in this case if Auburn fans are bringing cowbells with an Auburn logo, MSU benefits none.
