When I was a student at A&M, Porter Moser was a young assistant for Tony Barone...who could've known that he might've been the best coach on the staff?
Agreed that we need to start dominating those lesser teams. That said, you can't expect to win the SEC without 5-star talent, so we're taking the steps toward that end. Now, coaching them is the next piece of the puzzle.
Time will tell. But, I'd rather have the class we signed than not.
I harbor no ill will toward the young man or his choice of college or coach. He did what he thought was necessary for himself and his family and is taking advantage of the "wild west" NIL rules in force. However, I believe that the NIL system as we now know it will be devastating to college football, IF there is no effort made to reign it in.
Well, we lost our starting QB and the young OL hadn't gelled. Yeah, there's always the "what if" question, but I am extremely pleased as an Aggie to see how things are turning out. When you have Florida being wiped on the floor by a crummy USCe team, and formerly unbeaten UK on a slide, I am happy that we are finishing strong. Yeah, our offense struggled, but it was a ranked team we beat, period. Besides, this is clearly Georgia's year.
Tough loss. Baseball is a harsh and fickle mistress. However, as much as it pains me to say this, the Razorback program is in excellent shape moving forward, and I don't think we have seen the last of them in the CWS.
