How atypical of a starting QB would John Rhys Plumlee be for Lane Kiffin’s offense? And will that matter?
Kiffin will get the most talent on the field and he’ll put them in position to succeed. It’s up to the players after that. Kiffin is cocky and he’s brash but he knows offense and QB play. What he did with Blake Sims was incredible.
For one, what are the refs supposed to do to a player that during a dead ball time-out shoves another player for standing in a perfectly legal area? A technical foul or nothing is their options. Even without the flop they had to call a technical. Then they gave Bailey a flop warning which is how the flop rule works during play. I was surprised about the flop warning because I thought he would get away with it since it was during a time out and I didn't think the rule addressed dead ball situations.
