I couldn't have said it any more clearly. The drama that unfolds on these treacherous cartoon networks is appalling. I agree with another subscriber who wrote: If it just irks folks so terribly they need to change the channel.
While I regret that I didn't watch the game, I have always had the utmost respect for Cam Newton, both on and off the field. He has shown such a great sense of leadership, a heartwarming acceptance of others (regardless of anyone's life circumstances), as well as his eagerness to include his family, friends and fans in the game of football he loves and values so strongly. While there's a time and a place for show of sportsmanship, the basic principle of the aforementioned activity is that no one is perfect. Sports enthusiasts have been known to say things and/or behave in certain ways in the heat of the moment, regardless of the situation. After all, the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of expression and the right to speak freely for all individuals. While I believe God is the ultimate judge of our actions in this life, it's always good to remember that when you point a finger at someone else, regardless of the circumstances, there are always 3 fingers pointing back at you. Maybe a more important issue here is at some age, every person, whether they're a child or adult, will have to come to grips with the fact that they aren't always going to agree with the words/actions of their peers. THAT'S CALLED LIFE. If a parent is willing to bring their child to a public (albeit professional) event, they need to be ready to explain to their child(ren), in a mature & adult manner, the ramifications of actions which they disagree with. Otherwise, maybe children don't belong at such occasions!
