BYU is not going to the BIG 12 or any other Power 5. They won't play on Sundays and to join the power 5 you will have to join in all sports. If the BIG 12 would expand South Florida and Central Florida make a ton of sense. Tampa Bay Area (13th largest TV market) and Orlando Area (17th largest) both are top 5 in the South. Plus both schools produce a lot of alumni. The biggest draw is the BIG 12 gets to plant their flag in the middle of Florida (most 5 stars players) and in the heart of SEC country. Cincinnati is also a great choice for the BIG 12 to get to 14 teams. the TV market is decent (about 35th). The real draw is being in Ohio surrounded by a Big 10 schools (Ohio State and Indiana), an ACC school (Louisville) and a SEC School (Kentucky). Plus right down the road from WVU. The fourth team can't be in an already established BIG 12 state like Texas. So I wouldn't pick Houston. I would select Tulane... why? Tulane can be the Vanderbilt of the BIG 12. Plus bringing in New Orleans to the mix can only help the BIG 12... Plus there really isn't to many more options at this point.
