SEC in discussions to trade South Carolina to ACC in exchange for Clemson
It would be great if true, but I don't think that I will live long enough to see that happening. As a Clemson fan, I know that the coots has many friends in the state house, and they would fight to the end to keep Clemson out of the SEC. Being in the SEC is the biggest reason that SC usually pulls in the better SC talent. Even though Clemson competes at a level as any SEC team, we are still stuck with the ACC stigma as a basketball conference. The gamecocks know that if Clemson was brought into the SEC, high profile recruiting for them would be over, and they would be better off dropping FB. But I am confident saying that the gamecocks will never win a National Championship in FB. Now if there was a women's college FB, maybe!!!
