Being a Cal fan and sweating out Washington State games every year, I can attest to Mike Leach's teams are very disciplined and dangerous offensively. Getting Gardner Minshew was a coup for the program, even though they didn't win the North. At Cal, we had to suffer through Sonny Dykes who was a WR coach and OC at Texas Tech under Leach. There is something weird about Air Raid coaches, who don't seem to value defense as much as they should. So I found Leach going to the SEC a weird choice. But trust me. It's a weird year, but he will turn things around. He just needs a couple draft classes to get who he needs. And his press conferences are priceless.
