Displaced Razorback

This is a "Beatles vs. Stones" debate... there are zero wrong answers. I personally think the Stones are more impressive/versatile aurally and have a more timeless library. I will also ALWAYS agree with someone who loves the Beatles, their genius collection, and influence on music. I guarantee if I ran into a Beatles fan, they'd have a similar take. It's the same with the Tide vs. Georgia. Arguing, writing, and thinking about it is a complete waste of time... it simply comes down to a matter of preference. We are lucky to witness two generational programs both represent the same conference. Just sit back and enjoy the ride SEC fans. This entire season is one we'll be talking about for YEARS.
You're right- Alabama will be #1 until they lose (presumably to Georgia). I don't know if that's still an unwritten rule or not, but it sure feels like it. Personally, it feels like the Natty is UGA's to lose. I've always been partial to the Tide as a division ally (and I hope and pray Saban runs for president one day), but Georgia is playing a level above a "different level." Not to say that Alabama is bad, unimpressive, or ranked anything less than #1B, but Georgia feels sensational this year.
I personally could care less... but if you're in Arkansas for some reason, say "the Hogs" instead of "Arky." Just an fyi
Huh??? What??? Texas beat a ranked UL by 20, Rice by 58, and hung 70 on Texas Tech. A&M went on the road to Denver and held Colorado to 7 points. UGA's only "quality" win is against a dismal Clemson team, where the Dogs won by 7 and only scored 10 points. Since then, Clemson barely beat GT 14-8 and lost to NC State. NC State's QB threw for 100 more yards than JT Daniels did against the same Clemson.
Not sports related but... Yeah commenter above has a point. My parents and many others said the same thing about Savannah. I've felt the same attitude in Atlanta. I loathe the smug attitude from Georgians
This is going to be a closer game than people are willing to admit. The media is heavily discounting Georgia's showing against Clemson. They're flat out bad this year- NC state had a better showing. NC State put up 2.5x as many points as Georgia did against the same defense. The Wolfpack QB threw for 100 more yards against the same Clemson team that JT Daniels did. Sure UGA demolished their 3 cupcake games, as they should. But knowing what we know now about Clemson, it really should've been 4 cupcakes for Georgia. I know there's a fan out there with saber-metrics to debate me, but that's really telling reality if you ask me. Meanwhile, Arkansas handled their two cupcake games. They overcame Burks and KJ's partial absence to beat the #7 team with a stout defense. Arkansas also dismantled then-#15 Texas. You can try to compare the Longhorns to Clemson to discount the Razorbacks. Unlike Clemson, Texas isn't underperforming. A 58 point win over Rice, 20 point win over #23 UL (a ranked opponent better than anyone on Georgia's schedule thus far), and 70-35 win over Texas Tech show that the Longhorns are still a very formidable foe. Does Arkansas win? I don't know... and won't argue against anyone who disagrees with my take. I just really hope we beat my ex-future mother-in-law's alma matter. Woo Pig Sooie!!
