I know this article is little more than click bait, but here goes. One must realize that losing is often not just someone is "better." Better is not really quantifiable. If you assume someone is simply better, you have no power to correct the issues. You need hard solid reasons. Let's not forget a year ago Alabama beat Clemson by 18 and could have scored more. Alabama's best defensive unit left and Clemson's stayed. Schematically Tua needs to work on disguised coverages. The secondary needs it best rated corner (Trevon Diggs) to be healthy. Also, the team with the revenge factor usually wins. Saban is great at revenge games. Better? If Clemson is simply better, the next time they play, Alabama should take off their helmets, lick the ground and hand them the rings. Why, because they're better. I mean what's the point of showing up? Nobody should forget the OSU game a few years ago. That game could have been a lot worse. Also 2014 Oklahoma. I will prove my argument with stats, not fantastical sentiments of some abstract concept such as "better." Blake Sims vs OSU: 22/36 passing 2TD 3Int QBR: 25.3 Tua vs Clemson: 22/34 passing 2TD 2Int QBR: 21.1 AJ vs Oklahoma: 19/30 passing 2TD 2Int QBR: 32.8 Ooooh, but Alabama has NEVER had this happen before. OSU Superstar: Ezekiel Elliot 20 car 230 yards Clemson Superstar: Trevor Lawrence 20/32 passing 347 yards Oklahoma Superstar: Trevor Knight 32/44 passing 348 yards See? People need to calm down and let Saban work on fixing things he can control. Since 2015 Sugar Bowl, Alabama has won 2 titles. Calm down on burying the Crimson Tide just yet. I mean literally a year ago the media was obsessed about another freshman that won his team a national championship and now he is dead?
