With NIL accusing a team of buying their players doesn't imply cheating anymore, so A&M never should have gotten all butthurt. Saban said facts--unpleasant ones, but facts. No slander, no attack on sportsmanship. Jimbo should have owned it and invited other players seeking $$$ to follow him on Twitter.

What about David Cutcliffe? Sure he's a bit old and didn't do great the first go round in the SEC, but he has the experience (including within the SEC), recent success, could allow Roper's system to grow and thrive, and will attract/develop a QB. Not saying I'm a huge fan of the idea, but we could do worse.
