I think it has more to do with his average performance and fairly lopsided loss against a so-so A&M team.
You just described all fanbases, for any sport, across the world. As much as people like to talk about how good their fanbase is and how awful their rival's fanbase are, they're all the same. I go to school in Florida, and on Monday after the game I had someone yell obscenities at me because I wore an LSU jacket (not jokingly either, he was legitimately angry with me even though I hadn't said a word to him). I've also had to deal with a whole lot of jackasses when LSU plays at UF.
Bottom line: all teams have a few fringe losers who don't understand when enough is enough. It's ok to hate teams, I sure do, but don't be hateful to fans of that team who haven't done anything to you.
Uh, maybe you should take a look at TCU's schedule.
Yes, two touchdowns were called back, but don't forget that we still ended up scoring a touchdown on one of those drives anyways.
Statements like that are the reason why everyone thinks SEC fans are a bunch of ignorant rednecks. Of course TCU would beat Arkansas, they're a quality team that is one 4th quarter meltdown away from being undefeated. Kansas State has a real argument to be ranked ahead of those two teams also.
TCU should be ranked higher than Ole Miss and Georgia
