I get my corn from a jar.
You are correct sir. It isn't the official fight song, but the fans official "battle cry" that can be heard blasting out of Neylands massive walls all the way down the Tennessee the Tennessee river. It's what sparks electricity in the air. The same song opposing teams play ad nauseam during walk throughs in preparation for the song that can change momentum with 102,455 screaming it. Bear Bryant was known for playing it at ear splitting volume to motivate his troops for the mayhem on the third Saturday in October. Absolutely one of the best pagentries in all of college football. Go Vols.
John Kelly has the skill set to be an All-SEC back. He is very quick and can disappear behind the line, with his above average vision and speed, he is a threat anytime he touches the ball. I don't know about 500 yards receiving, but if UT's line can stay healthy, and we have successful QB play, he will certainly be a 1000+ yard rusher.
This just isn't a factual statement. Tennessee is not only an elite SEC program, its a nationally elite program. It is second in all time wins in the SEC with 825, which only trails Alabama's 878. That mark is good for 12th all time in all of major Divison 1 conferences. I understand we live in a what-have-you-done-lately era, but one can not discount 100 years of winning at the highest levels. The fact that Tennessee was 1st in the SEC in total revenue generated last yeae also speaks volumes to the branding of the power T.
