Watson won Swinney’s first title on the last play of the game. Hurts had just put the Tide ahead. Hurts would have won the game if any time had been left on the clock. Clemson’s success is mainly because they play in a basketball conference. They should play in the SEC, but that’ll never happen because he knows full well his team wouldn’t dominate the SEC. He would rather play basketball schools that occasionally have a fair football team. Easier to win 11-12 games a year playing basketball schools than playing in the SEC, the top football conference in the country.

Wrong. AL is the consensus #1 in all the early polls. A lot of them have Ohio State as #2 and GA as #3. And let’s be real, even with a rash of players being injured for the majority of the year, AL easily beat GA in the SEC title game. They beat GA with Mechie going out in the first half. If Jameson Williams had not blew out his knee AL would have won another national title. Jameson in less than a half already had 65 yards. He was a 1st team All American with over a 1,000 receiving yards. GA never took the lead until 3/4th of the game was over. If Kirby can win the SEC title next year and play in the National title game the talk can start. Little too early to proclaim GA the next dynasty in college football.
Congrats to GA for beating Alabama’s second and third string.
GA had no answer for Jameson. They still had a chance when he went out, but it was slim and none. With him it would have been a repeat of Atlanta. With all of Tide’s bad luck they still lead for almost 3 full quarters and dominated the stats.
Too bad Jameson Williams went out with the injury. He already had 65 yards in less than a half and was on his way to at least 200 yards. Georgia had no answer for him. He was at full strength in the SEC title game when he had 184 yards and two TDs. Georgia caught a break and they know it. Can you imagine the ass kicking if Jameson and Mechie had been at full strength for the game. It would have been a blowout and Kirby knows it. Tide will start next year #1 and will be the odds to win it all again. I was surprised how good the defense was. RTR!

In 2015 Georgia was a double-digit favorite and The Tide scored 5 touchdowns, winning the game 38-10.
I heard this morning they lost 20 players from last year.
After the fake punt Orgeron ran back to the sidelines and was hollering “they don’t want to play, they dont want to play, they don’t want to play.” Well Bama played a bad game, actually a terrible game, but it was good enough to whip LSU. ROLL TIDE!!
Other that gift wrapping the two interceptions Florida ran through GA vaulted defense and their game stats were every bit as good as GA,
Mullen’s team proved one thing. A good team that does not self-destruct can beat Georgia. Looking at the stats and not the score its hard to figure out who won because till you see the two interceptions ran back for touchdowns. GA plays one of the weakest schedules in the SEC. If they end up playing Bama in the title game my money is once again on the team that played their worse game in two years and lost on a game ending FG.
What did I learn from the games yesterday? Georgia’s defense can be ran on and a team with a good passing game can beat them if they don’t throw the ball to them. Florida might have lost in a blowout, but looking at the stats they it was anything but a blowout. If the Tide meets them in them in the SEC title game, my money is once again on Alabama.
Look at the stats against A&M. Alabama dominated the stats. They beat themselves like they always do when they lose. All Mike Leach teams do is pass the ball. If Bama gets on their receivers it’ll be a blowout. If their running game is on they should be able to control the clock and keep the pass-happy Leach team in check. Only way Bama loses this game is to completely forget how to play football.
A day after Bama lost the game last weekend Finebalm said he had learned to never see them short and reminded the genuises on ESPN the last time Bama was an underdog to GA was in 2015 when they ended up beating them by 5 TDs. He’s not giving them a chance now??
