Finebaum' radio call-in show was mostly sports gossip. Paul had a sidekick on the broadcast who made the show tolerable in the early years (but not by much). Then the sidekick was gone. Periodically happened to click on the show (by accident) while driving, suffered 1 minute of inane commentary and amateurish broadcasting (Click)
Heard a 60 year old lady next to me provide the best analysis this Saturday "Georgia is playing Alabama football"
Raise your hand if you are tired of the Manning family. To me it's like Clintons and Bushs. Too much of a good thing? Uhm, no.
Sloooooo startz!! OMG, what a meeeen thing to saaaaay. I'm tellin Mommy. My god, how embarrassing. Saban is better than that, but he's been trending that way for last few years. Not good.
Absolutely legitimate question and description. I would have been much harsher in tone regarding Bama's inept Q1 Saban has changed. For most of his Bama career, he was publicly never satisfied. Never. Highly critical of play. Now, he's like a grandfather to these Gen Z cupcakes (the generation who deflate under slightest criticism). Last few years, they are never wrong to Grandpa Saban, you see.
".....Crimson Tide, who also happen to have a pretty good offense led by their own Heisman contender..." Bryce Young, a Heisman contender? LMAO Right now, Young is barely doing yeoman duty, universally fails when O'Brien dials up riskier plays attempting to "grow" his QB (See Q2 at Florida) Maybe a Heisman contender his senior year? (just pure guesswork at this point)
New to SDS...Let me get this straight, SDS writers don't actually interview anyone (i.e. journalism), they instead "report" what other journalists write and troll social media for "quotes"? Do you need to leave your basement to do this type "reporting"? Dees nuts, aight
The Finebaum equation = 60% gossip + 30% conventional wisdom + 10% linear extrapolation of the current trend + 0% critical thinking
