I'm just loving all of this. Sitting here with four out of the top five teams in the AP poll from the SEC West. I detect a strong degree of jealousy from those outside the SEC. I'd ask any of you, how would you're team perform if they had to run the gauntlet of Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss...throw in an LSU team that is getting better and an Arkansas team that is about to turn the corner. Do you really think Florida State or Notre Dame could make it through undefeated?

I don't find it "laughable and scary" to point out that Dak isn't perfect and Wallace isn't a stooge. Wallace is coming around and playing the way a senior qb is supposed to play. The media storyline is not always based in fact. Dak is a great story, and his reputation is that of a great player who's getting it done. If he throws a couple of picks against Auburn, so what? He's still the greatest thing since sliced bread. Bo's storyline is that he's inconsistent. So, if he hasn't thrown an interception in the last two games (Bama and Texas A&M), it doesn't matter because he's still inconsistent....so the storyline goes.

I agree that Ole Miss has the best defense in the country, and defense wins games. Not so sure about Baylor though. Yes, they can put up points Texas style, but if their defense gives up 58, I don't think they'd be in the top 4 if they played in the SEC West.

Like it or not, but the Rebels will have something to say about that number one spot. Call us "angry" while you can, but barring key injuries, the Golden Egg is coming back to Oxford. We've got a doggone good team and you won't have 61,000 cowbells to provide a psychological advantage.
