the only thing that really matters is who the committee thinks is one of the four best teams, and historically they go by the eyeball test. I don't think conference afilations or TV ratings have anything to do with it. Georgia lost to SC on their home field in overtime, Alabama lost to LSU on their home field. Georgia has victories over two ranked teams, Alabama has none. I believe if it comes down to these two teams, the Auburn game will be the deciding factor, who looked better in their game with Auburn
