But the alcohol provision has always said "any portion of an establishment..." Now it says "a portion of an establishment..." But it's clearly referring to bars and that ilk. I know there was some change to the rules at Razorback Stadium recently, but I believe beer can still only be bought and consumed in specific locations - such as club seating. In fact, "No sales or consumption of alcohol will be permitted in outdoor seating sections or other public areas consistent with Southeastern Conference policy."

Though to be fair, the Senate today passed a bill and sent it to the House that would amend this law again to maintain a firearms ban at athletic events and UAMS.

It specifically amends 5-73-306 to say: "Except as permitted under § 5-73-322(g), a license to carry a concealed handgun issued under this subchapter does not authorize a person to carry a concealed handgun into..." Instead of: "No license to carry a concealed handgun issued pursuant to this subchapter authorizes any person to carry a concealed handgun into..." So yeah, Kewlwhip, it does exactly what this article says it does.

The law amends Ark. Code Ann. 5-73-306.
