It is what it is. The coach turnover at Bama is awful. Who cares about a sportscaster's opinion anyway? The games so far have been far from complete and unpredictable on both sides of the ball. Whoever was pulling the strings for the offense and defense came into this game too complacent. And just like that, it's handed to you on a platter.
And we also know after your cold and uncaring comment, just how low unsuccessful people can fall. Thank you for reminding us all how we are blessed not to be you.
REPLYING to your below post: Your simply minded logic is just jibber jabber. If you think using a wild card of circumstance to confuse an opponent in a big game is out of the question, maybe you should stick with T-ball and leave the football post to the big boys. Aight?
"If the starting QB is healthy enough to play he will start"?? That is about the dumbest statement I have read all day. Nobody knows who the starting QB will be until game time. Duhh
Creating mass confusion for the LSU D-line will be the trick. Playing both quarterbacks will be the key to that success. Start with Mac and get a feel for the speed of disguised coverage. All attention will be in the air by LSU's D-line. They will expect short passes and a run game to start. Capitalizing on the advantage of having Mac ready for an LSU D-line test drive will give coaches the opportunity to adjust accordingly for Tua.
If every NFL prospect interprets Paul Finebaum's opinion and logic here as a norm, there will be a continued increase in players sitting out tough games. Tua is not playing in a typical bowl game here. Tua is playing for a spot is the National Championship playoffs. It might be wise for him to sit out if he were playing in the Taco Bowl or was playing for an unranked team. But if that was the case, the NFL could care less about him.
The rat poison always gets to LSU when they get into any spotlight.
