The academic calendar has been set since this summer and hasn't changed since. This is a rule that needs to be evened out but all schools have different lengths of Christmas breaks. This isn't some ploy purposely drawn up to give Alabama more time to practice but whatever excuse makes the haters heart content and gives them a reason to tag on Alabama.
