It's all about the cats.

My thoughts exactly. Go back to picking single cover athletes in 2026; for the first game back, it should be a bunch of guys. Kind of like the old Sports Illustrated March Madness magazine covers, where it's a collage. Maybe do the best players over the last 11 years since the last game came out to honor the guys who would've been chosen but couldn't since the game had to stop production in the interim. Could be just the Heisman winners, which would be great, or maybe throw some defensive players like Nagurski winners in there.
How on earth Devin Leary was left off of this list is absurd.
What a believably bad take. Wish I could have the last 3 minutes of my life back.
I think he was originally a 2024 guy, and I think he'll end up moving back to that class. Seems like he's going to be a Wildcat
Whatever genius he had disappeared in his last years at Louisville. Y’all don’t have anything to worry about.
Not having Darian Kinnard on that list is ridiculous. He will be a fringe first/early second round pick.
Glad to hear it. Mike was the last really successful QB at UK before Levis. Threw for 3k and over 20 td's his senior year and took the cats to a bowl game under Joker Phillips, which in hindsight was not an easy accomplishment. Hope he does well.
"Effect" can be a verb as well- i.e. "he effected a change in circumstances". But generally you're correct.
Destin Wade, a 4* for Kentucky, is listed as an ATH, but will play QB (at least initially).
Love this, even if it's coming from a UT guy. The elusiveness of a fart in a skillet is known to be unmatched
Can't help but love the fact that they showed A&M fans when they said "met with real joy and excitement *in most parts of the footprint*"
Instead of pods we should do 3 permanent rivals and the rest in a pool. The way the math works makes MSU have only 2 permanent rivals, but they only really have 2 anyway. Bama: Auburn, LSU, Tenn Auburn: Bama, UGA, LSU LSU: Bama, Auburn, TAMU Miss: MSU, Vandy, Ark MSU: Miss, UK, TAMU: Tx, LSU, OK Ark: Miss, OK, Missouri Missouri: Tx, Ark, OK Tx: TAMU, OK, Missouri OK: TAMU, Missouri, TX Vandy: Tenn, Miss, USC UGA: Auburn, UF, USC Tenn: Bama, UK, Vandy UK: MSU, UF, Tenn UF: UGA, UK, USC USC: UF, UGA, Vandy
Screw the pods- we need 3 permanent rivals and the rest in a pool. I don't get the obsession with pods. It doesn't make sense. There is no benefit to having 4 "divisions"- it should either be 2 or none. My proposal is 3 permanent rivals, which can be different for each team and not pod-based, and the rest of the schedule rotates. That way you keep historic rivalries, allow for some flexibility without having needed historic rivalries either broken up or playing other random teams (i.e. Bama-Auburn and adding TN to the pod- Auburn-TN is not a historic rivalry). It's not all perfect, but this is the first stab: Bama: Auburn, LSU, Tenn Auburn: Bama, UGA, LSU LSU: Bama, Auburn, TAMU Miss: MSU, Vandy, Ark MSU: Miss, UK, TAMU: Tx, LSU, OK Ark: Miss, OK, Missouri Missouri: Tx, Ark, OK Tx: TAMU, OK, Missouri OK: TAMU, Missouri, TX Vandy: Tenn, Miss, USC UGA: Auburn, UF, USC Tenn: Bama, UK, Vandy UK: MSU, UF, Tenn UF: UGA, UK, USC USC: UF, UGA, Vandy
I feel like Jason Campbell has to get some love on here. Everybody talks about Cadillac and Ronnie Brown for the 2004 Auburn team but Campbell was the one that got them there. Played several years in the NFL afterward
Kentucky is going to finish the season probably top 10... and not ranked in this poll??? Absurd. Even if we do lose half the defense and Snell, this makes absolutely no sense.
This is not a statement against UGA. Look at the plays. These are all BS. One of them is "take a safety." It's a fake play sheet for anybody who looks at it. Has nothing to do with UGA.
