UGA beats the Purina Nation consistently in spite of their delusional disposition and the fact that most uears the media hype them up till the Dawgs annihilate them. 2024 will be no exception.
Were his illiterate parents trying to name him Jeremy?
Germie Bernard? Is that really a name or a joke? What a loser...
The answer to the article's title is simple. It is called buyout money.
Now I can see FSU replacing their ten million dollar crybaby Michael Norvell with Deion Sanders. They love to waste money on huge contracts for overrated coaches.
Are you kidding? Either UGA or GT would thrash FSU or Florida on the field this year. UF/FSU is a step down from almost anywhere these days... Free shoes U versus bluejean rednecks...
UGA might hire Buster Faulkner back someday, but you can argue whether or not he is really GT anyway... Probably just a stepping stone for him.
Stupidity is running rampant among American voters these days, so all this media marketing for Prime Time is totally predictable... He belongs on TV, not on a football field or the sidelines. He is an entertainer...
That's a good idea. He could also replace the guy at MyPillow.com...
That's funny... I don't think Deion will wear blue jeans, though...
Deion will take Nick Saban's place on ESPN next year after Saban replaces Lerch as head ball coach at The ohio state university... The bucknuts.
Deion Sanders was a gifted athlete. He is also charismatic, but not in ways that help American culture as he tries to outdress ghetto pimps. What he is not is a coach. His charisma brough in some highly rated BLACK players who wanted to play for a BLACK coach. We won't get into the simmering racism involved when people make decisions based on skin color. Anyway, whatever coaching he as pulled off was based on recruiting these sorts of players while slickly marketing himself using his charisma. The Colorado University senior leaders who actually hired this clown should be fired themselves. That is some very expensive virtue signaling, folks. Anyway, Mr Prime Time will leave the Buffs in worse shape than he found it. The sooner, the better...
Mike Norvell is the absolute worst coach in the NCAA. With a negative quotient of leadership ability and a wimpy disposition in general, why did anyone expect FSU to shine this year? Last year's team was a bunch of whiny babies with pacifiers. Instead of providing positive motivation, Norvell just stuck a pacifier into his own pie hole. He's now got a bunch of mercenaries with an attitude, most of which were pushed off other teams' rosters. The FSU fan base is obnoxious and entitled, with absolutely zero standing. Their school's academics are questionable and they have absolutely zero class whatsoever. So put it all together and you have a burning dumpster of doggie dung. The next coach will have to run off 75% of the players in order to restore a healthful attitude in the locker room. FSU will get beat by Florida this year. Mark my words, Noles!
Texas A&M, Florida, and Clemson should just merge their players into one team. Together, they could hope for a winning season. Actually, we can add LSU into the mix...
Based on last night's performance, Nussmeier is HIGHLY OVERRATED. Highly overrated. Badly...
I forgot... Again, HOW MUCH is UF paying Napier every year to coach their football team? If Napier had any honor, he would return his salary since he took the job back to the University of Florida. It is unearned income. How did the UF leadership actually hire such an empty shirt for tens of millions of dollars? Heads should roll, starting with the University Chancellor and President.
Yep, he's a dying cockroach. He'll be lucky to be an analyst for Kirby Smart next year, but he will have $50-$75M of unearned income from the taxpayers of Florida before it's all over with his ludicrous buyout. In the private sector, the CEO would get fired for hiring such a nincompoop. People must remember, though, that except for the Spurrier era and Tebow's stuffing of Urban Cryer's shirt, Florida has always been a mediocre football program. They are just back to their normal mojo in many ways...
Finebaum is talking truth. It is obvious to the objective eye. LSU's hiring of Brian Kelly, who never won any real championships at Notre Dame, will go down with Texas Aggies hiring of Jimbo Fisher and the Gator Lizards' hire of the "I don't have a clue" Napier. LSU should have known when Kelly utterly failed in misappropriating a southern accent at LSU's coming out party. He has been a total disaster who is all talk, no action. All hat no cattle. LSU has a great football history and fan base. They deserve better than this hundred million dollar loser.
Deion Sanders is just a classless showboat. We don't need Dione Sanders types as role models for our youth. He looks, talks, and acts like a ghetto pimp. He probably is one.
Not really. FSU would have found a way to lose under Norvell the snowflake...
Good riddance. He didn't start a single game at UGA for a reason.
After reading the FSU blogs this morning, a few observations and facts: 1. FSU did not lose to an inferior team yesterday. 2. Mike Norvell has the worst leadership traits of any coach in NCAA football. 3. The FSU players are entitled with really bad attitudes as if they are owed. They are not. 4. The whupping to FSU by UGA in the Orange Bowl was not a scrimmage. 5. Florida will beat FSU this year. 6. The FSU fan base is living in a fantasy land. 7. FSU is not one of the biggest brands in college football and haven't ever been...
Agree that UGA would have been the odds-on favorite to win the Natty had they been selected into the CFP Final Four. Problem is that they choked against Bama and games are won and loss on the scoreboard, period. On the other hand, FSU was highly overrated the entire year, with their signature win against an on-the-fence LSU team ranked around 20th. Their overall schedule was a joke. Once their QB got injured, they reverted to a bunch of spoiled juvenile delinquents. Beating Louisville was not a notable achievement. Their absolute AWOL stunt in the Orange Bowl set their program back ten years. It basicallly put Mike Norvell's future in checkmate. No recruit will want to play for FSU with zero team mettle or any ability to reach a CFP playoff playing in the inferior ACC.
Not really. UGA had a bad game against Bama, making a number of costly errors. No excuse for FSU quitting like spoiled juvenile children. FSU was overrated the entire year. UGA would have beat Michigan on New Years Day. Period dot com.
