Iowa manages a terrific defense every year. They can't get over the hump because of lack of talent on offense. Nebraska has to get to that point. Get that defense going. Maybe I'm crazy but they are hitting harder and doing a better job of reducing yards after the first hit. Specialty teams, now that's another issue.

If and this is a big if, if there is considerable evidence that Frost committed something that is forbidden in his contract then Nebraska could save 20 million and dump him. Otherwise 20 million baby. Okay, job done, now what? Who would Nebraska hire? There are very few 5 million dollar coaches available. Nebraska might have to dip into the unknown and hire a small college coach or take a chance on a up and comer assistant. Either case could make things much worse at Nebraska. Let me add one last comment. From what I see Nebraska players are hitting harder than I have seen in twenty years. Give that some thought.
