I'm a Vols fan who now lives in Columbia, SC. While the OBC did well at SC for a few years, lately he seemed to run out of energy--or rather expend most of his energy on the golf course. Spurrier stopped using the term "coach 'em up" and let the team try to win on raw talent. A younger coach with high energy and more focus can succeed at SC if good recruiting continues. I'm thinking Fuente first, then Herman--either will win here, I think

I was at the game as well, first time to Athens. Awesome stadium and great fans. We gotta thank your OC Bobo for keeping us in the game--calling so many passing plays really kept the game close. Why, the first two series of the second half, Gurley never touched the ball--and they were both 3-and-outs. But eventually Gurley got the ball and I've gotta say: He's all that and probably should win the Heisman. I think playing Oklahoma and the Dawgs back-to-back was tough but turned our Freshmen players into men. I'm expecting us to beat down the Gators next week when they come to Knoxville. Go Vols.

TN vs GA. During a punt, Ga signaled for a fair catch on the 7 yd line. He then took off running, but was whistled to stop. No flag was thrown for advancing after a fair catch signal. Why not? Seems like it should have been half the distance to the goal, putting the ball between the 3-4 yd line.
