You aren't wrong, but that's sorta the point. For the next month they play Hawaii, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, and Indiana. Does passing the eyeball test and going undefeated against those four teams really mean anything? Is it better than struggling against some combination of Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU, and A&M? IMO, there is no score that OSU can post against any four of those teams that would impress me more than playing bama within a touchdown, win or lose.
