Athens is consistently rated as one of the best places to live in the country. Your feelings about Kirby Smart seem to be at odds with many, many athletes who want to run through a brick wall for him. He is intelligent but down to earth and can speak the players' language. Obviously he motivates well. I would say use whatever eligibility you have left to play for someone else. Kirby's going to be fine.
